New faces in England squad to face Pakistan

England have named a 15 player squad to face Pakistan in July.

As predicted here on the Women's Cricket Blog ( there are call-ups for left arm seamer Tash Farrant, Surrey bat Nat Sciver and Yorkshire bat/wicketkeeper Lauren Winfield. Missing are Katherine Brunt (foot injury), Holly Colvin (broken thumb) and Laura Marsh (shoulder rehabilitation). The squad is:-

July 1:  First ODI, Louth CC, Lincolnshire, 10:45am
July 3: Second ODI, Loughborough University, 10:45am
July 5: First and second T20 internationals, Loughborough University, 10am & 2:30pm

    Hopefully everyone in the squads will get at least one match.
    Farrant or Langston - must have been a close call.
    Can't argue with selection of Sciver and Winfield - both had impressive seasons.
    Taylor, Jones and Winfield - no not estate agents but 3 of the best wicketkeeper batsmen in the world.
