It means that those four teams, together with Ireland and Bangladesh, have secured ODI status for the next four years and proceed to the Super 6s phase of the tournament. There each team will play the three teams that qualified from the opposite group. Once all the games have been played the top four teams will qualify for the Women's World Cup, and the top two teams will play off to see who wins this qualifying tournament.
The Super 6 games start this Wednesday. South Africa and India carry 4 points through to the Super 6s, Sri Lanka and Pakistan 2 and Ireland and Bangladesh 0 (as they only beat teams who have now been eliminated).
